Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Security Technical Account Manager - Splunk UK to guide strategic security engagements across multiple UK locations in a remote setup.

You will partner with customers to tailor use cases, drive Splunk ES/UBA adoption, and collaborate with sales and support teams to ensure success. The role emphasizes security expertise, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to influence product directions while maintaining strong customer relationships across Enterprise

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years in information security.
• Experience using or administering SIEM or security log systems (Splunk, ArcSight, LogRhythm, ELK, etc.).
• Active Splunk certification with hands-on experience in ES, SOAR, or UBA.
• Industry security certs such as GIAC, CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on use case development, configuration, and optimization for Enterprise Security and Splunk UBA.
• Resolve complex customer challenges to minimize downtime and improve system resilience.
• Accelerate adoption of Splunk security platform using security domain expertise.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Support to ensure customer success.
• Engage with the broader Splunk Account Team to align strategic plans.
• Build scalable processes, develop collateral, and implement tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Drive high CSAT by documenting compelling customer success stories.
• Identify product expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
• Participate in team development initiatives, mentoring and internal training.
