Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Security Technical Account Manager for Splunk UK to drive adoption, optimization, and strategic guidance of the Splunk platform for top customers. You will bridge customers with product teams, ensuring strong health, satisfaction, and opportunities for expansion.

The role is remote with UK coverage, requiring deep security knowledge, SIEM experience, and Splunk expertise. You will mentor teammates and contribute to customer success stories while maintaining high CSAT scores.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in information security.
• Experience with SIEM or security log management (Splunk, ArcSight, ELK, etc.).
• Active Splunk certification and hands-on with Splunk premium apps (ES/SOAR/UBA).
• Security certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent.
• Experience in Unix and Windows environments with Bash or Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on use case development and configuration for Enterprise Security and Splunk UBA.
• Resolve complex customer challenges to minimize downtime and improve resilience.
• Accelerate customer adoption of the Splunk security platform.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Sales Engineering and Customer Support for success.
• Engage with the wider Splunk Account Team to align strategic plans.
• Build scalable processes and tooling to improve efficiency.
