Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc invites an experienced Security Technical Account Manager to lead adoption and optimization of the Splunk platform for our UK customers. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating customer use cases into best practices for security and resilience while collaborating with product teams to improve offerings.

The role focuses on maintaining customer health, driving satisfaction, and uncovering opportunities for product expansion across accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional IT experience with at least 3 years in information security.
• Experience using or administering SIEM or security log management systems (Splunk, ArcSight, LogRhythm, ELK, etc.).
• Active Splunk certification with hands-on experience in Splunk premium apps (ES, SOAR, or UBA).
• At least one industry-standard security certification (GIAC, CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent).
• Experience in Unix and Windows environments with CLI and scripting (Bash/Python).

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers in long-term engagements to provide technical guidance on use case development, configuration, and optimization for Enterprise Security and Splunk UBA.
• Resolve complex customer challenges proactively to minimize downtime and improve system resilience.
• Apply security domain expertise to accelerate customer adoption of the Splunk security platform.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Support to ensure customer success.
• Engage with broader Splunk Account Team to align strategic account plans.
• Build scalable processes, develop collateral, and implement tools to improve efficiency.
• Drive high CSAT scores by documenting compelling customer success stories.
• Identify product expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
• Mentor team members and participate in internal training for continuous learning.
