Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Security Technical Account Manager for Splunk UK. This remote, full-time role focuses on guiding customers in adopting and optimizing the Splunk platform to meet security objectives across multiple UK locations.

You will advise on use cases, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive customer success, CSAT, and expansion opportunities while promoting best practices in security and resilience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience with at least 3 years in information security.
• Experience with SIEM or security log management systems (Splunk, ArcSight, ELK, etc.).
• Active Splunk certification with hands-on experience in ES/SOAR/UBA.
• At least one industry-standard security certification (GIAC/CISSP/OSCP).
• Unix and Windows experience with Bash or Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on use case development and optimization for ES and Splunk UBA.
• Resolve complex customer challenges to minimize downtime and boost resilience.
• Accelerate customer adoption of the Splunk security platform.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Sales Engineering, and Support for customer success.
• Engage with the broader account team to align strategic plans.
• Develop processes, collateral, and tools to increase operational efficiency.
• Drive high CSAT and document customer success stories.
• Identify product expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
• Participate in mentoring and training to foster learning.
