Job summary

Cisco Splunk UK is seeking a Security Technical Account Manager to drive adoption and optimization of the Splunk platform for our most critical customers. You will serve as a trusted advisor, translating customer use cases into actionable best practices for security and resilience.

By collaborating with product teams and cross-functional groups, you will help maximize customer investment while delivering robust health and high CSAT. Remote, full-time UK-wide role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience with at least 3 years in information security.
• Experience using or administering SIEM/security log systems (Splunk, ArcSight, ELK, etc).
• Active Splunk certification with hands-on experience of premium apps (ES/Phantom/UBA).
• At least one security certification (GIAC/CISSP/OSCP or equivalent).
• Experience in Unix and Windows environments with CLI and scripting (Bash/Python).

Responsibilities

• Guide customers on use case development, configuration, and optimization for ES and Splunk UBA.
• Resolve complex security challenges to minimize downtime and improve resilience.
• Apply security expertise to accelerate adoption of the Splunk security platform.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Support to drive success.
• Engage with the broader Account Team to align strategic plans and share insights.
• Help build scalable processes, collateral, and tools to improve efficiency.
