Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. seeks a Security Technical Account Manager for Splunk UK to guide strategic security deployments across UK customers. You will be the trusted advisor, shaping use cases, configurations, and best practices to maximise Splunk value in hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

Remote role with UK-based customers; deep knowledge of Enterprise Security, Splunk SOAR, and UBA is essential, along with strong communication skills and a track record of successful consulting or architecture work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional IT experience with at least 3 years in information security.
• Experience using or administering SIEM/log management systems (Splunk, ArcSight, ELK, etc.).
• Active Splunk certification with hands-on experience in premium apps (ES, SOAR, or UBA).
• At least one security certification (GIAC, CISSP, OSCP, etc.).
• Experience in Unix and Windows environments; CLI and scripting (Bash or Python).

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption and optimization of the Splunk platform for critical customers.
• Provide strategic technical guidance and translate customer use cases into best practices.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Support for customer success.
• Engage with the account team to share information and align plans.
• Build processes and tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for product expansion within accounts.
• Mentor team members and participate in internal training.
