A leading provider of access solutions is seeking a Specification Manager to manage specifications and drive sales in Northern England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. The ideal candidate will have expertise in specifying technical products and a strong background in B2B sales. Responsibilities include developing relationships with architects, providing specifications, and ensuring company profitability. Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Prolonged period of successful specification results.
  • Experienced in selling and specifying a technical product.
  • High standard of commercial awareness.
  • Ability to convey technical information precisely.
  • PC literate and able to utilize MS Office applications.
  • Accustomed to professional use of CRM systems.
  • Confident presenter, used to presenting to large groups.
  • Previous Field Sales & Specification experience.
  • Possess a valid European Union Passport or Visa allowing unrestricted travel.
  • Respect confidentiality in all matters relating to company operations.
  • Display courteous and responsible attitude towards work.

Responsibilities

  • Drive an increase in EQS specifications & sales values for the given region.
  • Contribute to an increase in company profitability.
  • Identify opportunities for an increase in quality project-related enquiries.
  • Develop relationships with Architects and Consultants.
  • Provide detailed specifications to Architects.
  • Deliver company presentations and CPD to Architects.
  • Carry out site surveys for the best solution.
  • Maintain all CRM activities in a timely manner.
  • Gather market intelligence to maximize opportunities.
  • Increase market awareness and promote the brand.
  • Meet (or exceed) all KPI set by the UK Specification & Marketing Director.
  • Maintain clear, proper records on all projects.
