Job summary

The position offers £35,000–£40,000 salary with performance incentives and a full-time permanent contract. Responsibilities include contractor onboarding, cost verification, and effective communication with clients and operatives.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance operations, facilities management and contractor handling.
• Ability to coordinate multiple maintenance orders and suppliers.
• Comfort speaking with clients and contractors and managing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Allocating maintenance and planned orders to contractors across the country.
• Speaking with contractors to discuss availability and arrange attendance.
• Finding and onboarding new subcontractors where additional coverage is needed.
• Managing live jobs and chasing progress as required.
• Ensuring reports, photos and paperwork are returned within deadlines.
• Auditing each job to ensure correct works, especially on emergencies.
• Ensuring costings are accurate before purchase and sales invoice processing.
• Holding daily team meetings to discuss priorities.
• Building and maintaining relationships with reliable contractors.
• Verifying contractor qualifications, insurance, certifications and compliance documents.
• Maintaining an up-to-date approved subcontractor database.
