Job summary

Recruitment Helpline is seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator in Cardiff to manage contractor networks and multi-site jobs within a facilities management context. You will allocate maintenance orders, speak with contractors, onboard subcontractors, and ensure timely completion and paperwork.

The role emphasizes organisation, cost awareness, and effective communication with clients and suppliers. The position offers a full-time contract with salary £35,000 - £40,000 plus performance

Qualifications

Experience in maintenance, facilities management, and working with contractors.
Ability to liaise with contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
Comfort with managing multiple orders and schedules.

Responsibilities

Allocating maintenance and planned orders to contractors nationwide.
Speak with contractors to discuss availability and attendance.
Onboard new subcontractors to cover demand.
Manage live jobs and chase progress as needed.
Ensure reports, photos and paperwork are returned by deadlines.
Audit each job to verify correct works, especially emergency repairs.
