ABS Commercial Solutions is seeking a commercially-focused Business Development Manager to build and win I&C connections opportunities across the UK. This hunter role involves on-site visits, industry events and client dinners, with a remote-first setup and extensive travel to client sites.

You’ll leverage your existing network of developers, main contractors and consultants to open doors and close contracts, reporting to the Managing Director (Infrastructure).

Formación

• Proven track record in ICP/IDNO or utility connections sales.
• Active book of I&C contacts (developers, main contractors, consultants).
• Confident prospecting by phone, events and on site.
• Strong history of meeting or exceeding new business targets.
• Credible negotiator capable of closing contracts end to end.
• Solid knowledge of electricity connections landscape (DNO/IDNO/ICP).
• Willingness to travel extensively with a full UK driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Proactively identify, prospect and win new I&C connections business across your verticals and network.
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline against agreed targets, from first contact through to signed contract.
• Get in front of customers through site visits, developer meetings, hospitality, conferences and trade events.
• Identify opportunities early in the project lifecycle and build relationships with the relevant decision makers.
• Own and grow a personal network of developers, main contractors, consultants and landowners active in the I&C space.
• Position the group’s full capability (connections, metering, IDNO, EV, solar and BESS) as a single, de-risked solution.
• Lead commercial negotiations and close contracts, working with the technical and delivery teams for a smooth handover.
• Keep an accurate, live pipeline in the CRM and report progress against targets.
