Job summary

A public sector agency is seeking EHC Coordinators (SEN Caseworkers) for a 3-month contract with potential for extension. Qualifications

  • Must have 12+ months experience ideally to understand the whole cycle.
  • Must have carried a caseload of 250+ cases.
  • Knowledge of the SEN statutory framework is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the EHC needs assessment process for a set locality.
  • Ensure all children have EHC plans reviewed annually.
  • Attend annual review meetings as the local education authority representative.

Skills

Experience of working in similar role within an LA
Competent in discussing previous caseloads
Experience in tribunals
Experience carrying out 20 week assessments
