Job summary

Actian is seeking an AI Enablement Lead to architect, scale, and own our AI enablement strategy across the Actian Data Intelligence Platform. You will build foundations, tooling, and frameworks that allow product and engineering teams to deploy AI safely, rapidly, and at scale.

Qualifications

• Senior AI/ML technical leader with enterprise SaaS or data platform experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain AI orchestration layers, API gateways, and reusable frameworks for company-wide use.
• Embed production-ready AI/ML features into Actian Data Intelligence Platform.
• Establish guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and monitoring for model performance, privacy, and security.
• Monitor cloud and API compute spend and optimize latency for production AI features.
• Lead workshops and create documentation to upskill non-AI engineering teams.
• Drive PoCs to production with scalable, production-grade code.
• Define and enforce the official AI stack, including vector DBs and embeddings strategies.
• Evaluate partnerships with AI model providers and open-source models to keep Actian at the vanguard.
• Define and track operational metrics for AI enablement, such as adoption rates and ROI.
