Job summary

Actian is seeking an AI Enablement Lead to architect and own our AI enablement strategy across product and engineering teams. You will build foundational platforms, tooling, and frameworks to deploy AI safely, rapidly, and at scale, democratizing AI across the organization.

You will lead the development of AI orchestration, LLMOps governance, and production-grade PoCs, while optimizing cost and latency and upskilling teams to leverage AI-driven features within the Actian Data Intelligence

Qualifications

• Senior AI/ML Engineer or similar with proven enterprise SaaS experience.
• Deep technical expertise in Python or Go, semantic search, and vector databases.
• Experience with orchestration frameworks and prompt engineering of LLMs.
• Strong ownership, software engineering rigor, CI/CD, and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Architect and own the AI enablement strategy end-to-end.
• Design and maintain AI orchestration layers, API gateways, and reusable frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineering to embed production-ready AI features in platform.
• Establish guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and monitoring for AI models.
• Optimize cloud spend and latency for production AI features.
• Lead upskilling workshops and create documentation for non-AI teams.
• Drive PoCs to production with scalable, production-ready code.
• Standardize tooling and AI stack across the organization.
• Evaluate partnerships and open-source models to stay at the vanguard.
• Define metrics to track adoption, time-to-market, and ROI.
