Job summary

Actian is seeking an AI Enablement Lead to architect, scale, and own our AI enablement strategy end-to-end. You will build foundational platforms, tooling, and frameworks to empower product and engineering teams to deploy AI safely and at scale.

You will democratize AI across the organization, establish LLMOps practices, and drive agentic workflows and data pipelines within Actian Data Intelligence Platform.

Qualifications

• Senior AI/ML Engineer or equivalent with enterprise SaaS or data platform experience.
• Deep expertise in Python or Go, semantic search, vector databases, and orchestration tools.
• Proactive ownership; builds scalable AI frameworks before teams request them.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain core AI orchestration layers and reusable frameworks.
• Embed production-ready generative AI features into Actian Data Intelligence Platform.
• Establish guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and monitoring for model performance, bias, privacy, and security.
• Optimize cloud compute spend and latency for production AI features.
• Lead upskilling workshops and create documentation for non-AI teams.
• Drive PoC to production high-impact AI projects.
• Standardize AI tooling stack and vector database strategy.
• Evaluate AI vendor and open-source models to stay at the vanguard of innovation.
