Job summary

The AI Enablement Lead at Actian will architect, scale, and own the AI enablement strategy end-to-end. You are a practical, technical driver who builds foundational platforms and tooling to deploy AI safely, rapidly, and at scale across product and engineering teams.

You will democratize AI, establish LLMOps practices, and influence the Actian Data Intelligence Platform with agentic workflows, intelligent data pipelines, and cutting-edge capabilities, while leading cross-functional upskilling

Qualifications

• Senior AI/ML Engineer or Architect with enterprise SaaS or complex data platforms experience.
• Deep expertise in Python or Go, semantic search, vector databases and orchestration frameworks.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to translate AI value to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the AI enablement strategy and core tooling.
• Embed production-ready AI features into the Actian Data Intelligence Platform.
• Establish LLMOps governance, guardrails, and monitoring for model safety and privacy.
• Optimize cloud costs and latency for production AI features.
• Lead upskilling workshops for non-AI engineers to build AI features.
• Drive PoC to production with scalable, production-grade code.
• Define AI tooling standards, vector strategies, and vendor/open-source strategy.
• Track metrics and ROI to demonstrate impact of AI initiatives.
