Job summary

Actian is seeking an AI Enablement Lead to architect and scale our AI enablement strategy across the Data Intelligence Platform. You will build platforms, tooling, and frameworks that empower product and engineering teams to deploy AI safely, rapidly, and at scale.

You will lead LLMops governance, optimize cost and latency, and upskill cross-functional teams, delivering production-ready AI capabilities and standardized tooling that keeps Actian at the forefront of enterprise AI.

Qualifications

• Senior AI/ML Engineer or equivalent with enterprise SaaS experience.
• Deep expertise in Python or Go, semantic search, vector databases, orchestration frameworks, and LLMs.
• Strong ownership and initiative to build reusable AI enablement frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing for AI, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and clean code architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain core AI orchestration layers and reusable frameworks for company-wide consumption.
• Embed production-ready AI features into Actian Data Intelligence Platform with core engineering teams.
• Establish guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and monitoring for model performance, bias, privacy, and security.
• Monitor and optimize cloud/API compute spend and latency for production AI features.
• Lead workshops and create documentation to empower engineering teams to build AI-driven features.
• Drive PoC-to-production projects with production-grade code that scales.
• Define and enforce the official AI stack, including vector databases, embeddings, and semantic caching.
• Evaluate partnerships with AI model providers and open-source models to keep Actian at the forefront.
• Define and track operational metrics like adoption rates and ROI of AI tools.
