Job summary

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in financial services law and be a qualified lawyer. Qualifications

  • At least 2 years post-qualification experience in a top law firm or in-house financial services legal team.
  • Broad knowledge of law and regulations governing banking and investment products and services.
  • Strong knowledge of UK and/or European supervisory regimes.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze developments in legislation and regulation in the UK and EU.
  • Advise business compliance on regulatory change and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate impact assessment of regulatory changes with stakeholders.
  • Act as primary contact with regulatory affairs functions.
  • Develop training programs on regulatory changes for legal teams.
  • Engage outside counsel when appropriate.
