Are you a newly qualified RVN ready to begin your career in a hospital that truly values learning, growth, and support? Or perhaps you’re an experienced nurse looking to take the next step in a busy 24-hour hospital where you can expand your clinical skills and take on more advanced cases? This Leeds veterinary hospital is proud to be a training hub for veterinary nurses and is looking for a motivated, compassionate nurse to join a friendly and supportive day team.

This is a 24-hour RCVS Accredited Hospital and Emergency Service Centre. As a trusted referral and OOH provider for 19 local practices, alongside a thriving first‑opinion service, the hospital offers a uniquely diverse caseload. From routine wellness care to complex referral cases, no two days are the same, and every case provides an opportunity to learn and grow.

Responsibilities
  • Support patient care, anaesthesia, and surgery as a nurse-led team member.
  • Gain experience across hospital areas including wards, theatre, anaesthesia, and inpatient care.
  • Manage a range of cases from straightforward to highly complex, including feeding tubes, wound care, and drains as appropriate.
  • Work within a structured, nurturing environment that encourages autonomy, confidence, and continuous learning.
  • Engage in mentorship and ongoing CPD opportunities and pursue further qualifications when ready.
  • Collaborate with a team of vets and nurses with postgraduate certificates to deliver high‑quality patient care.
