Overview

Job Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join the dedicated team at a well-established, independently owned small animal practice in Fife. This recently extended practice is proud to deliver gold-standard patient care alongside an exceptional client experience. With a varied and interesting caseload, this is the perfect environment for an RVN who is looking to thrive, develop new skills, and play a key role in a supportive and collaborative team. You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of nursing responsibilities and to develop your own nurse-led clinics, with full encouragement and support to pursue your personal areas of interest.

The Role

Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday) with shifts: 8am–4pm, 8:30am–4:30pm, 11am–7pm; 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8am–12pm. No Sundays, OOHs or on-call.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including monitoring health, administering medications, and supporting recovery
  • Assist vets during examinations and surgeries, maintaining a safe, sterile environment
  • Accurately maintain patient records and ensure clear communication with clients
  • Build strong client relationships by offering advice on pet care and preventive health
