A leading veterinary hospital in Leeds is seeking a compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their supportive team. This role offers exposure to advanced clinical skills and opportunities for career progression in a busy 24-hour hospital. Ideal candidates will have a passion for patient care and be eager to learn, regardless of experience level. The hospital fosters a culture of learning, teamwork, and continuous development.
Are you a newly qualified RVN looking for a hospital where you can grow, learn, and be supported? Or are you an RVN with several years experience looking to make the move to a busy 24 hour hospital to further your career and gain advanced nursing skills? At Leeds Birstall Vets for Pets Hospital, we’re proud to be a training hub for veterinary nurses, and we’re looking for a motivated nurse to join our friendly and supportive day team.
Leeds Birstall Vets for Pets is a 24-hour RCVS Accredited Hospital and Emergency Service Centre, established in 2012 by our JVPs Keith and Julie Leonard. We provide OOH and referral level support to 19 referring surgeries alongside a thriving first-opinion service, which means our nurses are exposed to a huge variety of cases, from routine care to complex referral patients.
A hospital built on learning and development
Our team of over 60 colleagues includes both vets and nurses with postgraduate certificates across ECC, Small Animal Surgery, Medicine, Dentistry and Anaesthesia. We actively encourage further qualifications and professional development, creating an environment where you’ll always have someone experienced to learn from. As a nurse-led hospital, our RVNs are at the heart of inpatient, anaesthesia and surgical care, supported by a culture of teamwork, teaching, and continuous improvement.
We’re looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic RVN who is excited to start or progress their career in a busy, supportive hospital setting. You don’t need to have years of experience, just a passion for patient care and a willingness to learn.
If you’re ready to advance your career in a hospital that invests in its nurses and values their role at every stage, we’d love to hear from you.
