A regional healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Registered Practitioner for Theatres to provide outstanding care during various surgical procedures. This role requires teamwork, adaptability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. The ideal candidate will have experience in theatre settings and be committed to high-quality patient care. We are recruiting for Registered Practitioner – Theatres who share our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
Our service now includes admission and recovery of elective patients and a continued emergency service for the Trust. Our team works 24/7, 365 days a year. As part of a rotation with other team members, you'll be expected to work evenings, nights, on calls, Bank Holidays, and weekends.
This role is within Theatres, there is an expectation to be rotated across all theatre areas including the QE2 to assist and care for patients undergoing a variety of elective (Vascular, Orthopaedics, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynae, Obstetrics, Plastics, Robotics, ENT, Oral Surgery, Ophthalmology, General Surgery) and Emergency procedures.
Candidates invited to interview will also be asked to participate in a practical element as part of the selection process. This practical element will test theatre knowledge and practice.
