A leading healthcare provider in York is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Elderly Care team at Scarborough Hospital. This role involves maintaining high standards of patient-centered care for older adults, covering various medical conditions. The ideal candidate should have a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council PIN, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and adhere to infection control policies. At York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, patient care is at the centre of all that we do. We have an exciting opportunity within the Elderly Care team at Scarborough Hospital to recruit a Registered Nurse on Mulberry Ward, which specialises in the care of patients awaiting discharge. The ward has 16 beds and provides quality holistic care for older adults, covering a range of medical conditions, including dementia, Parkinson’s, and palliative care pathway patients.
Interviews will be held in person only at the hospital site; remote interviews are not available. The Nursing and Midwifery Council PIN will be checked before shortlisting. Interested candidates are encouraged to discuss the role with the Recruiting Manager.
Education and training will be provided as required.
