Overview

Are you a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse seeking a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference in patient care? We are looking for dedicated Nurses to join our Community Hospitals teams across Kent. You’ll oversee the holistic care provided to patients, provide leadership by maintaining clinical standards, and may take charge of the ward in the absence of senior staff. Our units predominantly provide rehabilitation and end-of-life support for palliative patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic, patient-centered care and maintain clinical standards.
  • Lead ward areas in the absence of senior staff and support junior colleagues.
  • Work with patients, families, and a multi-professional team (e.g., doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists) to ensure safe, effective services and a positive patient experience.
  • Manage a caseload of patients with complex needs and participate in a 24-hour internal rotation; travel to other community hospital sites as required.
  • Develop integrated care plans, carry out assessments, and contribute to continuous improvement and evidence-based practise.
  • Support flexible working arrangements and participate in educational opportunities to develop skills (from degrees to apprenticeships).
