Ella Rowcroft ward & HCU at Torbay Hospital is currently looking to appoint a Band 5 – Registered Nurse. We are looking for a caring and motivated individual to join our multidisciplinary team.

You will need to show commitment, have good communication skills and be an organised individual with a passion to care for people.

This ward will give RN’s a great opportunity to learn multiple new clinical skills within an environment of a supportive and dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities

• You will be a registered nurse and will be looking to work on the ward, caring for pre & postoperative elective joint replacement patients and care for orthopaedic day surgery patients.
• Training will be given to support you in this role. As part of the role you will be expected to support Student Nurses and TAPS through their placement.
• Due to elective work restarting and we are seeing larger numbers of patients discharged home.
• We are actively supporting enhanced recovery and nurse lead discharge for elective joint replacements, a part of the role with be education pre & post operatively.
