A luxury elderly care provider in Chorleywood is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse. As part of the team, you will ensure high-quality care, manage staff deployment, and support residents' families. The ideal candidate will have a First Level qualification, current NMC registration, and at least 2 years of relevant nursing experience. This is a temporary Registered Nurse role at Avery Healthcare in Chorleywood. The role involves acting as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and ensuring high standards of care for the residents.
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include undertaking nursing tasks such as distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for advising families of residents and GPs of any changes in condition, which gives rise to concern, and keeping them informed and involved in choices for ongoing care. Additionally, you will be responsible for the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive required care.
