Overview

Sanctuary Personnel, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency, is currently looking for an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to work in Enfield on a full-time basis. Salary for this permanent role is £36,176 - £38,596 per annum.

About our client: Located in Edmonton, North London, this mental health facility provides acute and secure services for adult men and women, featuring two medium-secure wards, one low-secure ward, and one acute ward. The center offers specialized care for individuals with severe mental illness, complex needs, or those requiring a safe and secure environment. Through comprehensive assessment, treatment, and support, the facility helps individuals who are unable to manage independently in the community. Its acute and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) services support the NHS by enabling more people to receive care closer to home and assisting with the repatriation of out-of-area patients back to their local communities.

Main Duties
  • Provide exceptional, service user-focused care: deliver high-quality, compassionate, and individualised care that prioritises the needs and preferences of each service user, ensuring dignity, safety, and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development of new services and care pathways: collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement new models of care that improve patient outcomes.
  • Support the local implementation of the Group Nursing Strategy: align ward practices with strategic objectives and integrate nursing initiatives into daily operations.
  • Engage in and promote continuous quality improvement: participate in quality improvement initiatives, use evidence-based practices, and contribute to regular reviews and audits.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN and at least 12 months post-qualification experience.
  • Clinical experience in a similar or related field.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement, quality enhancement, and adaptability to change.
  • Flexible and innovative approaches to clinical practice and problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
