Within Derbyshire we are building brand new healthcare facilities as part of our Making Room for Dignity programme. This is a chance to join our team at Kingfisher House as an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse.
Kingfisher House is a 14-bed male Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit. This service is new to Derbyshire, making this post an exciting opportunity to be part of the development of the service.
Our team support those with a acute mental health illness, requiring an enhanced level of care to support and improve their mental health in an acute inpatient environment. As an Multi-Disciplinary Team we work proactively with our patient group and their loved ones, promoting independence and choice in their care, aiding their recovery.
Kingfisher House have a wide multi-disciplinary team approach to supporting those in our care. This consists of Nursing staff, Medical staff, Occupational Therapy, Psychology and many other professionals.

You will join a nurturing team providing individualised recovery focused assessment and care planning.
The post will provide an ideal opportunity to extend your skill base in acute care with opportunities to become involved in a variety of work streams including patient, service and staff development.
You will be expected to work shifts across a 7 day week, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
