A local council in Milton Keynes is seeking a Registered Manager to oversee three supported housing schemes. The role involves ensuring compliance with CQC regulations while leading and managing dispersed teams. Milton Keynes City Council operates three supported housing schemes providing 24-hour, CQC-registered domiciliary care to older tenants with dementia, complex health needs, and frailty.
As part of a service transformation, we're introducing a new role that brings these three services under one experienced Registered Manager. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape a consolidated service, ensuring consistency in operational approaches and the effective delegation of resources to deliver positive outcomes for our tenants.
We're seeking an experienced and collaborative leader who can develop, motivate and inspire teams, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and promoting independence and wellbeing for those in our care.

To be successful in this role, you'll need a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. If you're offered the position, we'll ask for proof of your licence and vehicle insurance, including business use cover. Unfortunately, we won't be able to confirm your appointment without these documents.
If you're offered the role, we'll arrange an Enhanced DBS check as part of our pre-employment process (unless you're already registered with the DBS Update Service).

Our roles are either designated 'site based' or 'home based'. 'Site based' roles can include up to two days a week working from home whilst 'home based' roles are based at home four days a week. Of course, managers designate which category roles are in based on the needs of the service and the circumstances.
