Job summary

Leaders in Care is working with an established specialist care provider to recruit a Registered Manager for a small residential home in the Merseyside area, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs.

This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong emphasis on person-centred care and positive behaviour support, with a focus on safeguarding, compliance and developing a capable team.

Qualifications

• Experience in learning disabilities, autism or similar specialist adult care.
• Management experience in a regulated care service.
• Strong safeguarding culture and knowledge of CQC requirements.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care with relevant management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the staff team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Maintain safeguarding culture and ensure high standards of care.
• Ensure services meet CQC and regulatory requirements.
• Drive service improvement and development in the Merseyside home.
• Oversee recruitment, induction and professional development.
• Collaborate with senior leaders on service strategy.
