Job summary

Career Makers are seeking an experienced Registered Manager for a specialist Learning Disability & Autism care home in Widnes. You will lead the home, ensuring safe, person-centred care and maintain high standards of operation with strong senior management support.

You will oversee the care team, drive service improvements, and ensure regulatory compliance while developing residents’ outcomes and maintaining a positive, supportive working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a Learning Disability and Autism care setting.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring high-quality care delivery and compliance with CQC standards.
• Support, develop, and motivate the care team to provide outstanding person-centred support for adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
• Oversee care planning, safeguarding, audits, and continuous service improvements to achieve positive outcomes for residents.
