Job summary

Leaders in Care is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 12-bed learning disabilities, autism and complex needs service in Pontefract. You will drive quality, safety and outcomes, overseeing a team to deliver person-centred support.

The role offers leadership development, strong senior support and a clear path for progression within a specialist care provider with a solid local reputation.

Qualifications

• Experience as Registered Manager or equivalent in adult social care.
• Experience in CQC-regulated learning-disability or autism services.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, safeguarding and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of support staff and senior carers.
• Deliver person-centred support for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Ensure care plans, risk assessments and behaviour support plans are robust and reviewed.
• Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding, MCA/DoLS, Care Act and health & safety requirements.
• Manage staff rotas, recruitment, induction, training, supervision, appraisals and performance management.
