Job summary

Leaders in Care is seeking an Interim Registered Manager to oversee a small cluster of 2–3 residential Learning Disability and Autism services across Liverpool and Cheshire. This hands-on leadership role focuses on safety, quality and person-centred outcomes, with day-to-day oversight across multiple sites.

You’ll bring previous Registered Manager experience, strong safeguarding and CQC knowledge, and the ability to travel across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience as Registered Manager in regulated adult social care.
• Experience overseeing 2–3 services.
• Strong safeguarding, CQC compliance and quality governance.
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
• Able to lead through change and build team structure.
• People-focused leadership style.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Willingness to travel across Liverpool and Cheshire.

Responsibilities

• Provide interim leadership across 2–3 services.
• Support and develop service managers and staff.
• Maintain safeguarding culture and address concerns.
• Ensure care plans are person-centred.
• Drive quality improvement and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with CQC and policies.
• Support recruitment, induction and development.
• Coach teams to build capability and accountability.
• Review service performance and action plans.
• Collaborate with senior leaders, families and stakeholders.
