Contract: Full-time, permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum

NFP People are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading charity for a passionate and experienced Registered Manager, Semi-Independent Services to lead provision for young people in Reading.

This organisation is dedicated to delivering person-centred care that empowers children and young people to thrive. Their services include Ofsted-registered residential care, semi-independent accommodation, and family-focused support, all designed to help individuals build confidence and independence.

As Registered Manager, Semi-Independent Services, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, supportive environments for young people transitioning to adulthood. You'll lead a committed team, oversee daily operations, and maintain compliance with Ofsted standards, safeguarding practices, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted and full regulatory compliance.
  • Provide effective leadership and line management to staff.
  • Oversee service delivery, ensuring safety and consistency.
  • Develop personalised support plans and risk assessments.
  • Build strong relationships with young people, families, and local authorities.
About You:
  • Experienced in managing services for children and young people (preferably 16+).
  • Knowledgeable in safeguarding and relevant legislation.
  • Qualified to Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People) or willing to work towards it.
