About the Role

We are seeking a confident, compassionate, and organized Home Manager to lead our small 8-bed supported living service for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex care needs. You will ensure a homely, safe, and person-centred environment, where residents are empowered to live fulfilling and independent lives.



Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily running of the 8-bed service, ensuring a warm, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere.

  • Build strong relationships with residents, empowering them to make choices and live as independently as possible.

  • Act as a Key Worker, maintaining excellent communication with families, staff, and external professionals.

  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding protocols, and company policies.

  • Lead, inspire, and develop the care team through training, supervision, and mentoring.

  • Maintain accurate care plans, records, and reports in line with regulatory requirements.

  • Manage budgets, resources, and staff rotas effectively.

  • Drive continuous improvement and uphold the organisation's core values.



Requirements

  • NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) - essential.

  • Previous experience managing a small residential or supported living service.

  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Well-organised, proactive, and able to prioritise effectively.

  • Compassionate, hands-on approach with a commitment to person-centred care.

  • Flexibility to work across shifts when required in a 24/7 service.
