Pay Rate: £21 per hour

What you will do:

  • Conduct face-to-face or virtual skin assessments for employees flagged by the initial survey as requiring follow-up.
  • Identify early signs of work-related skin conditions or sensitisation linked to occupational exposure.
  • Provide advice and guidance on skin health, prevention, and management of occupational dermatitis.
  • Accurately document findings and maintain confidential health records in line with data protection policies.
  • Communicate outcomes to occupational health teams and line managers to inform workplace risk management and control measures.
  • Support the employer in meeting COSHH regulations by identifying potential skin health risks and advising on control measures.
  • Work collaboratively with the Norse Group’s Occupational Health team and other stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of the surveillance programme.
  • Maintain professional standards and comply with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) code of conduct.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration.
  • Experience in occupational health nursing or dermatology is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of occupational skin diseases, COSHH regulations, and health surveillance principles.
  • Ability to assess and identify early signs of skin sensitisation and dermatitis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with employees and management.
  • Competent in maintaining accurate and confidential health records.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines.
