Overview

PE Global are an approved supplier to the NHS via the Health Trust Europe Framework. We are pleased to be working with a community hospital based in Shropshire to support their temporary agency requirements.

The role

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Band 5 Registered Nurses to join our healthcare team. You will be supporting 6 community hospitals (Oswestry, Whitchurch, Shrewsbury, Telford, Bridgnorth, Bishops Castle) who offer rehabilitation and recovery following an operation or palliative care to local patients aged 18+.

We can offer you a variety of shift patters, from long days or nights to traditional 7.5 hours on weekdays or weekends. You can work a few shifts, a few weeks or for a number of months.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will work collaboratively with medical staff to ensure the well-being of patients.

Duties
  • Assess and monitor patients’ health status, documenting changes and reporting to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily activities and emotional support.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
