The Opportunity

Were looking for a Regional Engineering Manager to join our Concrete Products business, overseeing engineering support across our Torr and Callow factories. This is a role where youll coordinate maintenance activities, monitor PPM schemes, and manage contractors, supporting the ongoing reliability and improvement of our automated block plants and equipment.

Youll play a pivotal role in driving site improvements, ensuring preventative maintenance is carried out correctly, and supporting project work across both sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded engineer, or a supervisor looking to step into a more strategic and multi-site role, to make a real impact across our concrete operations.

What Youll Be Doing
  • Planning, allocating, and monitoring maintenance activities for site engineers across both factories.
  • Managing contractors, ensuring risk assessments and method statements are up to date and adhered to.
  • Supporting the implementation of preventative maintenance schemes and continuous improvement programs.
  • Diagnosing and resolving plant issues, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 standards.
  • Assisting with the creation of safe systems of work and best practice procedures.
  • Supporting project work, equipment upgrades, and shutdowns as required.
  • Collaborating with site engineers and managers to drive operational improvements and build future-ready facilities.
Who You Are
  • Either Mechanically or Electrically certified.
  • Experience in fault finding with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Proven ability to lead improvements and implement robust PPM procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, able to liaise effectively with site teams and engineers across locations.
  • Experience in an industrial or process-driven environment; concrete, manufacturing, or similar backgrounds welcomed.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and ready to step into a multi-site engineering coordination role.
