Our client is a very well-respected insurance company who have been trading effectively for over 100 years.
This is a newly created role where they are currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Regional Commercial Underwriter, across the East Anglia regions, which will be a hybrid home working role with regular visits and being onsite in the company’s regional hubs as and when required. There may also be the requirement to go and see the risks you are working on and visiting potential clients.
This is a great company to work for with a great deal of support, however you would have high underwriting licence writing general insurance up to £100K GWP or more, and therefore you’d be expected to be proactive and manage your own workload and be an effective communicator both internally and externally.

They are looking for a customer-orientated and detail-focussed professional who has significant Commercial underwriting experience.
Being a strong team player, you will strive to achieve high quality standards and output, even when challenged and working under pressure. You will be used to always putting the customer first and fully considering their requirements whilst developing lasting relationships.
Experience of Underwriting, have a track record of dealing with relevant, more complex and technical cases and of effectively coaching and guiding peers and colleagues.
