Job Title: CERT Manager Europe

Location: Kingston/Port sunlight

Work-Level: 2B/2C

Responsibilities
  • Bring rich techno‑managerial experience in cyber security operations, provide strategic leadership, and engage hands‑on to guide the team for effective incident management.
  • Own end‑to‑end Incident Management process, track KPIs and metrics to drive continual improvement and operational excellence within the region.
  • Lead cyber incident notifications, containment, investigation, remediation, and communication; coordinate with external investigators/specialists in major incidents.
  • Participate in discussions involving SOC capability projects and services for appropriate integration of technology and use‑cases, utilizing latest SOC technologies across various platforms for monitoring, alert triaging, and incident management.
  • Manage stakeholder and vendor partner relationships, streamline RACI for effective support and service delivery for incident management.
  • Serve as a leader and coach to the team, communicating complex cyber matters confidently and effectively to senior stakeholders in simple language.
Key Requirements (Education, Work Experience & Skills)
  • Hands‑on experience with SOC technologies: SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR.
  • Hands‑on experience in malware analysis, forensics and network security.
  • Minimum 8 years of enterprise experience in a global SOC domain with at least 3 years of people‑management experience.
  • Strong ethics, values, and excellent communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of at least one scripting tool: Python, Perl, or PowerShell.
  • Experience collaborating with legal, compliance, and business continuity teams during major incidents.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST 800‑61, ISO 27035, or MITRE ATT&CK for incident response planning and execution.
  • GIAC Certifications: GCFE/GCFA/GREM/GNFA/GCIA/GMON.
  • Certification in Azure, AWS, or GCP security.
