Job summary

Hartford Care Ltd. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to act as the first contact for families exploring our Homes. You will guide families from the initial call through assessments and moving in, while building relationships with healthcare professionals and community organisations.

You will drive occupancy, negotiate top-ups, and deliver regular occupancy reports. You will collaborate with care teams, Marketing, and regulatory bodies to develop local sales plans and maintain a top-tier local

Qualifications

• Proven sales track record in care or equivalent sector.
• Ability to build relationships with professionals and families.
• Willingness to travel to Hartford Care Homes and referral sources.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage enquiries from first contact through move-in, including weekends and out-of-hours follow-up.
• Show families around the Home and build trust by understanding needs and concerns.
• Sell Nursing, Residential and Dementia services to local authorities and private clients.
• Generate referrals from Social Services, Discharge Co-ordinators, GPs and Consultants.
• Build links with community organisations and regulators; maintain a growing network.
• Keep enquiries database up to date and oversee the sales pipeline.
• Oversee move-in process with care teams to ensure a smooth transition.
• Improve average weekly fees via top-ups and growing self-funders; secure Admin Fee.
• Monitor local competitors and help develop a site-specific sales plan.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Regional Ops, and Quality Support; engage at community events.
• Maximise positive reviews on carehome.co.uk and Google.
• Provide regular occupancy and sales reports; deputise for Sales Director when needed.
