Hartford Care Ltd. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to be the first point of contact for families enquiring about our Homes. You’ll guide families from the initial call through tours, assessments and moving in, ensuring a smooth transition.

You’ll build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and community organisations to generate referrals and keep occupancy high across our Homes. The role requires travel to visit referral sources and Hartford Care Homes.

• Proven track record in sales with target delivery.
• Empathetic approach when dealing with families and carers.
• Experience engaging with community and professionals.
• Genuine interest in elderly care settings.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication at all levels.
• Well-presented, professional and credible in person.

Responsabilités

• Manage enquiries from first contact through move-in day, including weekends and out-of-hours follow-up.
• Show families around the Home and build trusting relationships by understanding their needs.
• Sell Nursing, Residential and Dementia services to local authority funded and private clients.
• Generate referrals from Social Services, Discharge Co-ordinators, District Nurses, GPs and Consultants.
• Build links with community organisations such as Alzheimer’s Society, Age UK and solicitors.
• Build relationships with local regulators and commissioning bodies.
• Keep the enquiries database up to date and manage the pipeline of potential residents.
• Oversee the move-in process, coordinating with care teams for a smooth transition.
• Improve average weekly fees by negotiating top-ups and growing self-funders, and secure the Home Administration Fee.
• Monitor local competitors and help develop a sales/marketing plan for each site.
• Provide regular sales, marketing and occupancy reports and deputise for the Sales Director when required.
