Job summary

A global recruitment firm in Leigh is seeking an experienced Recruitment Team Leader to oversee a team of consultants in the Marine Subsea division. You'll leverage your ROV industry knowledge to drive business development and team performance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 24 months of experience in recruitment, proven billing success in the ROV or subsea market, and strong leadership skills. WRS are looking for a Recruitment Team Leader with proven experience placing personnel in the ROV industry to join our Marine division.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead from the front, combining your technical understanding of contract ROV recruitment operations with a strong network to drive team performance, deliver revenue, and grow WRS’s presence across global subsea projects.

Your Role As a Recruitment Team Leader , you will :
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Recruitment Consultants within the Marine Subsea division (ROV).
  • Continue to bill personally while driving overall team success.
  • Use your ROV expertise and market connections to identify new business opportunities.
  • Support consultants in developing their own client and candidate networks.
  • Oversee and contribute to the full recruitment cycle, ensuring delivery excellence across all roles.
  • Collaborate with management to shape the division’s growth strategy and performance goals.
  • Drive both individual and team targets through consistent business development activity.
What We’re Looking For

To be considered , you must havedirect sector experience or a strong recruitment background in ROV and subsea. In addition, you’ll bring :

  • A proven track record of billing within the ROV or subsea recruitment space.
  • Previous experience leading, mentoring, or supporting other consultants.
  • Deep industry connections and an understanding of ROV operations.
  • Commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A minimum of 24 months in a 360 recruitment role.
