Job summary

Capita Recruiting Partnering Project in Upavon, Wiltshire, is seeking a Customer Service Advisor for a full-time, onsite role of 37.5 hours per week. You will answer inbound calls, respond to webchat queries, and guide candidates through the Army recruitment process.

The role offers hands-on training, colleagues support, and a permanent contract with a competitive benefits package, including 25k salary figures and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience, face‑to‑face or over the phone.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong listening skills with the ability to capture information accurately.
• A patient, empathetic and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Answering inbound calls from individuals interested in joining the British Army.
• Responding to candidate enquiries via online webchat.
• Updating and maintaining accurate records on our internal systems.
• Providing clear information about the recruitment process and next steps.
• Escalating issues or queries when appropriate.
• Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment.
