Overview

If you believe great teams start with great people, you're in the right place. We're looking for someone who truly understands what makes Chilled Pubs special - and can bring that magic to life in every interview, with every candidate. We're proudly values-first when it comes to hiring. As our Recruitment & Values Coach, you'll be the warm, friendly face of Chilled Pubs, giving future teammates an unforgettable first impression. You'll sit alongside our line managers in every interview, guiding the flow, delivering honest-but-warm outcome calls, and making sure our recruitment experience feels as good as our pubs do. You'll also help raise leadership standards across the business - coaching managers, building their interviewing confidence, and helping them make consistently great people decisions. This role is predominantly Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends where needed. A full UK driving licence is essential as you'll be travelling between pubs.

Responsibilities
  • Run Chilled Interviews side-by-side with our managers
  • Set the tone - warm, values-led, relaxed, confident
  • Help managers ask great questions & make great values-based decisions
  • Make sure every candidate feels the Chilled culture
  • Deliver honest, kind, encouraging outcome calls (successful or not)
Coaching and Capability
  • Coach managers before, during & after interviews with friendly, constructive feedback
  • Build their confidence in questioning, listening & decision-making
  • Support their wider people-leadership capability
  • Help create and refine future Chilled Interview Training modules
Additional Activities
  • Attend careers fairs, hospitality events & school/uni visits
  • Support the Recruitment Manager with key recruitment tasks
  • Keep communication timely and ensure a brilliant candidate experience
Candidate and People Focus
  • You're a natural coach - patient, confident, curious
  • You read people well and ask simple-but-smart questions
  • You're kind but firm - high bar, lovely delivery
  • You're organised, reliable, and happy travelling between pubs
  • You genuinely love helping others grow
  • Experience running engaging interviews
  • Warm, articulate, honest communicator
  • Coaching experience & confidence giving feedback to managers at all levels
  • Able to handle difficult conversations with empathy
  • Comfortable juggling multiple recruitment priorities at pace
