We are seeking a Recruiting Manager to lead our Accounting & Finance recruiting team in our Birmingham office. This critical leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, agile staffing environment and is passionate about developing recruiting talent while delivering exceptional experiences to clients and candidates alike.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and develop a team of Accounting & Finance recruiters, providing coaching, direction, and ongoing professional development to help each team member achieve personal and professional success.
- Manage recruiting workflows within the vertical, ensuring adherence to ITAC’s recruiting processes, compliance with company practices, and applicable federal and state employment laws.
- Monitor and drive performance against recruiter scorecard metrics, ensuring candidate pipelines are consistently filled and client needs are met with qualified, well‑prepared candidates.
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers and other vertical leaders to ensure seamless fulfillment of client requests and the highest quality of service delivery.
- Own the candidate experience within the vertical, ensuring each professional who interacts with ITAC feels valued, informed, and supported throughout their job search.
- Maintain personal production goals, continuing to recruit and close placements to model best practices and maintaining current market insights.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, camaraderie, and respect across the team and broader ITAC organization.
What You’ll Need to Be Considered
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven recruiting success in a high‑volume, fast‑paced, and diverse staffing environment.
- Minimum of one (1) year of leadership and/or supervisory experience, including demonstrated success coaching or developing others toward achievement of professional goals.
- Demonstrated staffing acumen and ability to impart recruiting best practices to others.
- Deep understanding of the Accounting & Finance talent landscape, including familiarity with industry roles, skillsets, and hiring trends.
- Alignment with ITAC’s Core Values, demonstrated through integrity, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.
- Professional demeanor and ability to balance multiple priorities, resolve conflict effectively, and work cross‑functionally to achieve goals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence, motivate, and lead.
- Ability to successfully complete ITAC’s standard background screening, including credit, criminal, drug, and education verification.
What Could Set You Apart
- Three (3) or more years of proven leadership and management experience within a staffing or professional services environment.
- Deep subject matter expertise within the Accounting & Finance discipline, including awareness of emerging trends, skill demands, and industry hiring challenges.
- Direct experience leading a recruiting team in the Accounting & Finance vertical within a staffing agency environment.
- Verifiable success in developing recruiting strategies that drive sustained candidate flow in competitive or limited talent markets.
- Proven ability to balance individual production and leadership responsibilities, maintaining strong personal performance while elevating the success of others.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
