Description
Safestore is growing and from our Head Office in Borehamwood, you will play a key role in recruiting for our retail operations across Italy. This dynamic and exciting role will give you ownership across the full recruitment lifecycle and you will be engaging with candidates, hiring managers and stakeholders across multiple regions. As such, fluency in Italian and English is essential and you will be consistently delivering a premium, high-quality recruitment experience.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process. This includes sourcing, screening, creating shortlists, coordinating interviews, supporting the assessment and selection process, offer management and pre-onboarding.
- As a brand ambassador of Safestore, you will ensure candidates have an accurate understanding of who we are, the exciting future that lies ahead and a positive experience throughout the process.
- Understand our business needs, be comfortable navigating the Italian recruitment market and be confident in using multiple recruitment channels to advertise our vacancies. This includes our company careers site, external job boards, referrals, networking and talent databases.
- Ensure candidates understand the key requirements of the roles and demonstrate the required competencies needed for a successful future at Safestore.
- Partner with both hiring managers and candidates alike and maintain clear and timely communication that enables fast and effective feedback, assessment and hiring decisions.
- Conduct effective CV screening and 1st stage interviews to build strong candidate shortlists.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, distribute assessment materials, manage post-interview follow ups, collate feedback and confirm outcomes.
- Make job offers and support the onboarding process in collaboration with HR colleagues.
- Support successful candidates in a smooth onboarding and transition into the company.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for future needs.
- Ensure recruitment processes align with both internal policies and Italian legal requirements. This includes background checks, right-to-work documentation and reference verifications.
- Maintain accurate interview and recruitment data and provide insights to support continuous improvement and further refine recruitment practices.
- Perform various administrative tasks that support the Recruitment function.
Experience and Skills Required
- Experience in retail or sales recruitment is preferred but not essential.
- Able to communicate fluently and confidently in both Italian and English.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills that can engage and influence candidates.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills which can review details quickly and accurately and also be able to prioritise and respond well to a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- An approachable manner which builds rapport and trust quickly.
- Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
