Hough Green Garage Ltd are looking to recruit a Recovery and Breakdown Co‑ordinator, who has the relevant experience in the recovery industry. Hough Green Garage is a family‑owned business with 13 depots covering the northwest. The successful applicant will be based out of our 24‑hour control room in Head Office, Widnes.

In a busy, fast‑paced environment the successful candidate will be responsible for handling inbound telephone calls, accepting and deploying emergency breakdown vehicles within the allotted time and updating various internal systems. Hourly rate is dependent on work experience and qualifications, shifts and hours will be discussed at interview.

Duties
  • Takes full accountability for the utilisation of all drivers and resources on shift.
  • Map the breakdowns to find nearest resources and deploy drivers based on Geographic's.
  • Follow through on all jobs to completion.
  • Raise with senior management any short falls or issues with workload on any day of the week.
  • Work with depot Administrators and the drivers in getting the work out efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct training with colleagues on customer expectation on a telephone call vs planning of a driver to a breakdown to ensure customers satisfaction is met.
  • Handle customer queries both on the Telephone and at Reception in a professional and efficient manner with a non‑judgemental approach.
  • Ensure all documentation and personal information is processed in accordance with the companies GDPR policy.
  • Carry out property searches with integrity and respect.
