The role involves working 32 hours per week as a receptionist and administrator in an NHS general practice surgery, Spring Grove Medical Practice, Thornbury Road Health Centre, Isleworth TW7 4HQ.

Main Duties
  • Receptionist role: assisting patients face-to-face, by phone and online; and liaising with hospital departments, interpreter services, transport services, etc.
  • Administrative role: processing messages by phone, fax and email; processing repeat prescription requests; data entry onto computers; contacting patients to arrange special appointments, etc.
About Us

We are a training practice for GP registrars, clinical pharmacists, etc. Our premises consist of a spacious and quite modern health centre. 7,500 patients are registered with our practice, and there is a diverse mixture of ethnic minorities. We have 4 doctors and trainees. Our clinical software is EMIS Web (now called Optum).

Job Responsibilities

32 hours per week, spread over Monday to Friday plus plenty of overtime opportunities.

Working hours will be:

  • Monday 08:00 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 17:30
  • Tuesday 13:30 to 18:00
  • Wednesday 08:30 to 13:30
  • Thursday 08:30 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 18:00
  • Friday 12:30 to 18:00

Start as soon as possible.
