Job Description - Receptionist (CHI00IP)

Chilton Meadows Care Home, Stowmarket IP14 1HL

Salary £12.80 per hour. Permanent Part Time 24 hours. Working days to be discussed.

Responsibilities
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors to the home
  • Taking responsibility for managing new enquiries
  • Providing advice and support face to face and over the phone
  • Conducting show-arounds within the care home
  • Supporting the Home Manager and Administrator with clerical duties such as maintaining paperwork and filing
  • Dealing with enquiries in a timely manner and ensuring daily and weekly tasks are completed
Qualifications / Skills

You should have prior experience as a Receptionist with a strong focus on customer service. A friendly manner face to face and over the phone, approachable and organized, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, their families and internal teams. You should be dedicated and efficient with the ability to handle a varied workload, and have a caring attitude that underpins everything you do to make a real difference to people’s lives.
