Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or qualified Early Years Educator is essential.
• EYFS teaching experience or experience teaching Year 1 is required.
• Experience using Little Wandle phonics is preferred.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills are necessary.
• Good knowledge of early reading, phonics, and child development essential.
• Must have Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain.

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

This is a full-time teaching role with full classroom responsibilities, ideal for a passionate Early Years professional who enjoys helping children make a strong start to their school journey.

The Role

• Full class responsibility within Reception
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework
• Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress
• Creating a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Working closely with support staff, the EYFS team, and parents
• Ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing remain a priority at all times
